Running in front of the pack is nothing new for Harris, who won the Orange Empire Conference individual title last fall. But this year she is getting pushed by her teammates because the Pirates have one of the top teams in the state. Harris, from Newport Harbor High, won the Golden Coast Invitational Saturday in 19 minutes 23 seconds, giving her two firsts and a second in three races this fall.
