If you want to know what kind of costumes the little ones will be wearing this Halloween, check what TV shows and videos they’ve been watching.
At Noblitt’s, get-ups for both Darth Vader and Batman are available for $29.95; Robo-Cop comes in at $32.95. If dad wants to be either character, he can rent each costume for $65.
Owner Gloria Noblitts says angels are very big this year. Wings and halos should fill the bill, at $18.95.
Most costume shops will rent or sell adult outfits, but will only sell costumes for the little ones. At Magic World, an adult rental is good for a month in case there are several parties to attend.
At Magic World stores in Burbank and Chatsworth we located some hard-to-find masks from “Scream” at excellent prices. One costume shop in Long Beach is asking $22.99, but at Magic World the price is $12.99.
Magic World has a big selection for the little ones. Pumpkins for $21.99, Barney for $29.99 and new this year--an M & M for $17.99.
We like the authenticity of the stuff at It’s a Wrap, the last resting place for studio wardrobes. We found animal costumes and some from “Baby Games” going for $15 to $20.
