Seminar to Focus on Dead Sea Scrolls

The Jewish Community Center of Orange County will recognize the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, among the earliest copies of the Hebrew Bible, with a seminar and reception Sunday.
Seminar panelists will include Richard Sneed, chancellor emeritus at Saddleback College; Bruce Zuckerman, associate professor at USC’s School of Religion; and James M. Robinson, professor of religion at Claremont Graduate School. Photos of the scrolls will be displayed.
Admission is $10 for community center members, $15 for nonmembers and $5 for full-time students with school identification.
