Dornan’s Antics Embarrassing

* [Former Rep.] Bob Dornan has again made Orange County proud by his antics and his bombastic actions on the House of Representatives floor.

His determination to overturn his loss to that upstart, Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Garden Grove), finally has backfired on him. Name-calling and downright harassment of other representatives may have cost him his wish of throwing out his loss to Sanchez.

His pursuit has cost the taxpayers millions of dollars and lots of notoriety for Sanchez. That a way, Bob!

* I was about to write off the current Congress as a “do nothing” Congress, when they finally developed some spine and booted out Bombastic Bob. This guy has been terrorizing critics and fellow representatives for too long with his “McCarthyism” tactics. His own party is embarrassed with him, as shown by the vote. Void the election? No way! Get a job, Bob.

* When is Dornan going to realize he no longer represents the people of the 46th Congressional District? He obviously neither understands that nor is adult enough to live with it.

How long is the taxpayer going to be bombarded and insulted by the outrageous and totally inappropriate actions of this self-anointed crybaby? Wake up and smell the roses, Bob; you lost the election.

He continues to embarrass not only himself, but the members of Congress with his actions and personal attacks on other elected officials. It’s time for him to get on with his life and get off the House floor.

He should have no more right to access the House floor, the chamber or the cloakroom of the House than any other taxpayer in this country. I know I sure would be prevented from free access to those areas. His former membership of the House granting him those privileges, especially to lobby his challenge of last fall’s election results, is an affront to the electoral process.
