Ocean View, Junior; Volleyball/Setter

Lindquist began last week by leading Ocean View to the No. 1 ranking in the county after the Seahawks defeated Laguna Beach Monday in the Division I title match of the Orange County Championships. Lindquist also earned tournament MVP honors after Ocean View won the Santa Barbara San Marcos tournament title Saturday.

* Villa Park, senior. Won three sets of singles against No. 1-ranked Corona del Mar, including a 6-3 victory over Nina Vaughan.

Heather Garritson/Cross-Country

* Buena Park, senior. Won the Division III race at the Sonora Invitational in a course-record 18 minutes 15 seconds on the 2.9-mile course at Carbon Canyon Park, helping the Coyotes win the team title.

Katie Rice/Volleyball/Setter

* Mater Dei, senior. Was named tournament MVP after helping the Monarchs win the Las Vegas Durango tournament title.
