Kilimanjaro Java
Tanzania--there’s one country you don’t often see coffee from. The reason is that, unlike neighboring Kenya, it doesn’t produce much premium coffee. However, Peet’s Coffee & Tea has a small batch (in coffee trade terms, 16,000 pounds) of a very good Tanzanian grown near Mt. Kilimanjaro: mild, mellow and aromatic. It will be available for about the next week and a half only.
Tanzanian coffee, $12.95 a pound, from Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Pasadena store only, or order from (800) 999-2132 or https://www.peets.com.
