Panel to Review Plan for Industrial Park
The Camarillo Planning Commission tonight is scheduled to review a plan to build an industrial park on land around a historic ranch house built by the city’s founder.
The commission will consider a proposal by Vista Development Co. of Dallas to build an industrial park near the ranch house and barn owned by the descendants of Adolfo Camarillo.
A condition for approval of the project is that the company purchase the 1892 Victorian mansion and surrounding 4.4 acres of land and then turn the properties over to the city.
The Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive.
