Applicants Sought for City Arts Panel
The city is seeking to fill two positions on its Arts Commission to help oversee the art center’s operations and map out the course for the city’s largest cultural institution.
The two successful applicants, who must be approved by the City Council after a lengthy interview process, will serve two-year terms beginning July 1 and attend meetings the third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at City Hall.
The commission is composed of seven members--two City Council members, one Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation representative and four members of the public.
All applications must be received by 5 p.m. May 15.
