High Achievers to Be Honored

A dinner ceremony for high-achieving high school seniors, called the Celebration of Excellence, will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library near Simi Valley on Wednesday.

Nineteen award-winning students have been selected from Conejo Valley Unified School District’s three traditional schools and the continuation high school. Each winner will receive a crystal bell made in Ireland etched with his or her name.

The winners are Nathaniel Austin, Brian Chong, Ian Lebby, Crystal Phillips, Kristen Thompson and Maren Van Orman from Newbury Park High. Thousand Oaks High’s winners are Patrick Fisher, Mary Fletcher, Melissa Kiefer, Justin Murray, Valerie Sun and Jeffrey Sheng. At Westlake High, the winners are Jessica Borelli, Aaron Rackoff, Matthew Salmon, Nicole Selken, Ganesh Shankar and Esther Yoo. Robert Bauer is the winner from Conejo Valley High School.
