Western State Library to Be Dedicated
Marc Adelman, president of the California State Bar, will be the featured speaker at a ceremony Wednesday dedicating the new law library at Western State University College of Law.
The college built the 31,000-square-foot library in its effort to become the second Orange County law school accredited by the American Bar Assn. Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa was the first. The ABA will decide later this month whether to approve the college’s application for accreditation.
Western State’s new library features a 31-station computer lab and eventually will house a 400,000-volume collection, college officials said.
Tours of the building will follow the 8:30 a.m. public dedication ceremony. The campus is at 1111 N. State College Blvd.
