OK, So the Dodgers Did Get It Right

As director of creative services for the Dodgers’ merchandise department, I was fortunate enough to be asked to design the mural on the outfield wall at Dodger Stadium.

After reading the letter in last week’s Viewpoint in which one of our fans believed the image of Dodger left-handed slugger Duke Snider was backward, I felt compelled to elaborate visually. I didn’t want readers to just take our word for it.

Enclosed you will find the full image of the photo in question [see left]. In order that the images of the players on the wall could be seen by fans hundreds of feet away, it was necessary to closely crop in on the photos.
