Tecstar Purchases Demo Systems Inc.

Tecstar Inc., which specializes in space power systems and aircraft avionics technology, has purchased Demo Systems Inc. of Moorpark for an undisclosed amount.

Demo Systems is a privately held avionics manufacturer that supplies data transfer systems and maintenance access terminals for commercial and military aircraft.

“We identified DSI as an ideal partner in our efforts to strengthen our expanding systems capabilities,” said David Van Buren, Tecstar’s president and CEO. “DSI’s expertise in software and system engineering, combined with Tecstar’s satellite power experience, works synergistically in the area of satellite power management and control.”
