WASHINGTON — President Clinton will hold a news conference today to discuss the U.S. economy and other topics, the White House said Wednesday.
Clinton is expected to use the 11 a.m. PDT session to hail new figures showing improvement in the U.S. gross domestic product for the first quarter.
White House officials say he will not have much to say about the investigation by independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr into the Monica S. Lewinsky matter.
