Man, 25, Shot in Foot by Gunmen in Alley
An Oxnard man was shot in the foot early Friday after he and a friend were approached by two men in an alley.
Erik Lualemana, 25, was treated at St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital and released.
Lualemana told police he was standing with his friend, Anthony Tatlonghari, 31, in a carport in an alley in the 2100 block of North Ventura Road when two men walked up to them and fired several rounds from a small-caliber handgun.
As he tried to flee, Lualemana said, he was hit in the foot. Tatlonghari was not injured. The men took a cab to the hospital.
