The Seal Beach Historical and Cultural Society has extended the deadline for its amateur photo contest to Dec. 14. For the contest, “Visions of Seal Beach . . . Through the Lens” photographers are asked to capture their favorite scene or vision in Seal Beach. Winners will be awarded photographic equipment and have their photo become part of the society’s permanent historical record. Information: Elouise Shanks, (310) 431-9501.
