MILWAUKEE — Jeff Nelson and Mark Mowers each scored twice to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to a 6-2 International Hockey League victory over the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Wednesday night.
Milwaukee (10-7-5) led, 4-0, after two periods. The Ice Dogs (18-6-0) were held scoreless until John Byce got his fourth goal at 1:13 of the third period.
Ryan Bach (3-1-0), who took over in goal for Manny Legace at the start of the second period, suffered his first loss.
