NORTHERN ARIZONA (4-2) at UC IRVINE (1-3), 7 p.m., KUCI-FM (88.9)--Irvine had 33 turnovers in a 68-54 loss to Portland on Monday. It was a combination of poor passing and decision-making from perimeter players and a lack of presence by the inside players. The Anteaters are shooting only 54% from the free-throw line. Mark Gottschalk, Irvine’s 6-foot-10 freshman center who has sat out the last two games because of a strained left calf, will probably play. Northern Arizona, the defending Big Sky champion, shot only 40% in a 71-65 loss to San Diego on Thursday. The Lumberjacks beat Arizona State this season, their first victory over the Sun Devils since 1958.
