The California Highway Patrol’s “CHIPS for Kids” program needs new, unwrapped toys for needy children. Donations can be dropped off at the CHP’s Capistrano office, 32951 Camino Capistrano, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information: (949) 487-4000.
