Thousand Oaks 78, Crespi 67--Kahil Fennel made four three-pointers, scored 16 points and the Lancers pulled away in the stretch.
Crespi (1-1), with Tim McDonough scoring 14 points, stayed close for 3 1/2 quarters.
Tim Chevalier scored 15 points, Jeff Hayne and Jason Furino each had 14 and Kyle Kegley added 12 for Thousand Oaks (5-1).
Highland 72, Calabasas 69--John Banks and Gerrome Clipper each scored 16 points in the Bulldogs’ victory.
In other games:
Hoover 56, Burbank 45--Zareh Avedian, a 6-5 center, had 24 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Tornadoes in a victory at Hoover playing against 6-9 center Eric Rohwer.
Rohwer scored 19 points for the Bulldogs (2-2).
Narbeh Doloukhanian added 16 points for Hoover (4-0).
Reseda 57, Sherman Oaks CES 53--Bobby Mitchell scored 13 points and the Regents broke off a 9-2 run in the final three minutes to win at Reseda.
Gus Ruiz added 12 points for Reseda and Nashid Beard had 11.
Campbell Hall 57, Canyon 50--Brandon Woodard had 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Jesse Foster added nine points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots for the Vikings in a first-round victory at the Beverly Hills tournament.
Buena 65, Peninsula 59--Danny Thompson had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs in a first-round victory at the Beverly Hills tournament. Senior guard Josh Navon added 13 points for Buena (3-2).
Kennedy 74, Mid-City Magnet 65--Nana Gbewonyo collected 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Golden Cougars in a victory at Kennedy.
Camarillo 41, Royal 32--Forward Kyle Lassiter scored 15 points for the Scorpions (3-2) in a victory at Royal.
Matt Janousek scored 10 points, including two three-pointers in the second quarter, for Royal (2-3).
St. Francis 75, South Pasadena 43--Shaun Scranton scored five points to highlight a 13-0 second-quarter run for the Golden Knights at St. Francis.
Scranton scored 11 points and Derek Lavelle had 18 points and 13 rebounds for St. Francis (1-0).
Providence 53, L.A. Baptist 43--Sophomore Derek Jones had 18 points and 13 rebounds to help the Pioneers (3-1) win at L.A. Baptist.
