El Dorado 61, Valencia 36--Courtney Smith had 14 points and three steals and Sydney Patten added 11 points and 10 rebounds for visiting El Dorado (5-1). Valencia is 3-2.
Loara 52, Bolsa Grande 41--Vivi Mai had 14 points, five rebounds and four steals for Loara (5-1).
Mater Dei 54, Rosary 48--Maile Shimoda scored 19 points for Mater Dei. Maggie Barnett led host Rosary (3-3) with 12 points.

Capistrano Valley 45, Kennedy 15--Lindsay Peloza scored 16 points and had seven rebounds for Capistrano Valley (1-4).
In the Fairmont tournament:
Connelly 73, L.A. Ribet Academy 17--Ruth Lazzari had 16 points and 18 rebounds and Diane Kelly had 15 points and eight steals for Connelly (2-0).
In pool play at the Fountain Valley tournament:
Irvine 48, Fountain Valley 34--Jody Carlson scored 14 points and Kristen Thawley had 12 for Irvine (4-2).
Sonora 60, Murrieta Valley 58--Lillian Hewko hit two three-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 17 points for Sonora (4-2). Sarah Fister and Brandi Davis each scored 19 points for Sonora, which trailed by seven points after three quarters.
In the Ladycat Classic:
Brea Olinda 67, Ontario Chaffey 36--Chelsea Trotter’s 18 points and 20 rebounds led Brea (4-0) to a semifinal victory. The Ladycats led at halftime, 34-19.
Jackie Lord scored 11 points and Lindsey Davidson added 10 points with seven assists for the Ladycats, who face the Palos Verdes Peninsula-Palisades winner in Saturday’s 8 p.m. title game.
In consolation play at the South Coast tournament:
Esperanza 57, San Bernardino 46--Kristin Peters had 18 points, eight rebounds and four steals for Esperanza (3-1).
In pool play at the La Quinta Classic boys’ tournament:
Lakewood 54, Garden Grove 48--Lamont Mitchell and Aaron Sahagun combined for 34 points for Lakewood and Roland Quach scored 15 for Garden Grove (0-6).
In the Napa Valley Classic:
Lodi 54, Fountain Valley 47--Ryan Moreau scored 18 points to lead Fountain Valley (2-1), but Lodi hit seven of nine free throws in overtime for a first-round victory.
In pool play at the Darren Oliver Classic tournament at Fullerton:
Bolsa Grande 44, Santa Ana 36--Alfonso Martinez scored 14 points to lead Bolsa Grande (3-3), which lost David Lee and Kevin Pham to injuries. Lee left with a wrist injury and Pham an ankle injury.
Bolsa Grande is also without its top player, John James, who suffered a stress fracture to his ankle Dec. 2. and won’t return for at least three weeks.
Whittier La Serna 61, Orange 54--Host Orange (4-2) was outscored 19-6 in the first quarter and never led. Steven Miller had 27 points and Kyle Richards added 13 for the Panthers. La Serna improved to 4-0.
In the Cerritos Valley Christian Tournament:
Rancho Alamitos 85, Norwalk 48--Willie Montgomery had 32 points and 12 rebounds for Rancho Alamitos (3-3) in pool play.
In consolation play at the Tournament of Champions:
El Modena 45, St. John Bosco 41--Joseph Cortez scored 11 and Stephan Perovich had 10 points in the fourth-round victory for El Modena (3-2).
