A Voice for Foray
June Foray, defined by the Hollywood Reporter as “the first lady of off-camera voices,” is completely ignored in Michael P. Lucas’ article on voice-over talents (“Animated Inflection,” Dec. 1). I once tried to explain the incredibly versatile genius of this lady by speaking of her as equal to Mel Blanc.
For over 50 years, she has led the way and fought the good fight for all the Tara Charendoffs, Frank Welkers and Nancy Cartwrights to follow.
