The La Habra City School District swore in new board members and elected a new president Thursday. Antonio Valle Jr. was elected president, Nancy S. Zinberg vice president and Cindy Frisbie Hecklau board clerk. Valle, Zinberg and Linda Navarro Edwards, who ran unopposed last month, were sworn in. The next regular meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at the District Education Center, 500 N. Walnut St. Information: (562) 690-2300.
