* Oneok Inc. agreed to acquire Las Vegas-based Southwest Gas Corp. for $890 million, or $28.50 a share. Tulsa, Okla.-based Oneok, which supplies gas to customers in Kansas and Oklahoma, also will assume $910 million in debt. Southwest Gas serves 1.2 million customers in Nevada, California and Arizona.

DaimlerChrysler named Gary L. Henson as North American manufacturing chief to replace Dennis K. Pawley, who plans to retire at year’s end. He will not assume Pawley’s additional duties in labor relations. Henson, 56, has been senior vice president in charge of car, Jeep and truck assembly and stamping operations.

Kellogg Co. said it has raised cereal prices an average of 2.7% to help pay for new products and more advertising and marketing, its first price hike since 1994.
