‘Blue’ Christmas

LeAnn Rimes, she of the titanium “Blue” pipes, pops up tonight at Knott’s Berry Farm to help the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots drive. After storming the country music world in 1996 with that career-making “Blue”

single, Rimes has broadened

her reach into the wider pop music arena as well as TV. On her latest album, the fittingly titled “Sittin’ on Top of the World,” this old pro who’s now all of 16 even managed a credible Tina Turner-like rendition of

Prince’s “Purple Rain.”

* Knott’s Berry Farm, 8039 Beach Blvd., Buena Park. 7:30 p.m., with Sean Mullins. Admission to the park and concert is an unwrapped toy, $10 minimum value. (714) 220-5200.
