Hot-Shooting Metro Defeats SCC by 20

Sarah Coleman scored 22 points to lead Metro College past Southern California College, 80-60, in a women’s basketball game Thursday in Denver.
Coleman had four assists and four three-pointers for the Roadrunners (5-4), who shot 49% from the field.
Alana Kempton had 12 points and Kristi Wright added 11 points for SCC (7-5), which shot 33% from the field and committed 27 turnovers.
