LOYOLA MARYMOUNT (4-4) at UTAH (5-4), 6:30 p.m., KXLU-FM (88.9)--The Lions are coming off a 71-62 victory over Pacific, in which senior forward Tim Kennedy had a career-high 13 rebounds and scored 22 points. Utah fell out of the top 25 this week, the first time the Utes have not been ranked since the beginning of the 1994-95 season. Utah leads the overall series against the Lions, 20-1. The Lions’ top scorer is sophomore forward Elton Mashack, who is averaging 13.4 points a game. Guard Andre Miller (18.6 points a game) has been the top scorer for the Utes in five games, and forward Hanno Mottola (16.1) has led Utah in the other four games.

CAL STATE FULLERTON (5-2) at PORTLAND (5-3) 7 p.m., KWRM (1370) and KWRN (1550), (delayed, 8 p.m.)--The Titans will be trying for a four-game sweep of West Coast Conference teams, having already defeated Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount and St. Mary’s. Portland has beaten two Big West teams, UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara, and is 4-1 at home. Fullerton’s five-game winning streak ended last weekend in a loss to Saint Louis.
