No one could remember the last time that Newport Harbor (8-2) won a tournament title. But thanks in large part to the ball-handling and defense of Jameson, the Sailors won the Irvine World News Tournament title, beating Irvine. He had 14 points and six rebounds in the final, and 65 points on the week and was named most valuable player. A week earlier the Sailors lost to Brea Olinda in the Edison International Tournament final. “We wanted to do this one right,” Jameson said.

Recorded back-to-back three-goal games, bringing his total to 10 goals on the season.

Led Troy to the title of the Courtside Clash Tournament and was named MVP.
Conan Williams/Wrestling; Calvary Chapel/Sophomore
His one-point victory at 152 pounds helped lead Calvary Chapel over Temecula Valley.
