A Sesame Street Goal

Just when we were digging Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis’ running and scoring and versatile thespian Terrell Davis playing the dual role of himself and John Elway’s ma on those delightful Campbell’s Chunky Soup commercials, here comes Terrell Davis, the singer.

Recently he appeared opposite Big Bird and other Sesame Streeters during a taping of the children’s show. We heard Davis sing “Sing,” one of the show’s signature songs, which has been done by many, including Barbra Streisand and the Carpenters. Davis is no Streisand, and he’s certainly no Carpenter, but he is one happy Bronco. His appearance on “Sesame Street,” he says, fulfills a lifelong dream.
