The city recently released its latest statistics about housing and household characteristics. Among the findings: The number of housing units has nearly doubled to 23,700 since 1960 and the city projects there will be an additional 3,000 housing units by 2020. The median home value in the city is $206,000 and the median monthly rent is $675.
