Film About DreamWorks Controversy to Be Screened
“The Last Stand,” a documentary film focusing on the controversial land-use struggle over the proposed DreamWorks SKG development at Playa Vista near Los Angeles International Airport and the protests over that development by environmentalists, will have a premiere screening Jan. 12 at 7:45 p.m. at the Museum of Tolerance in West Los Angeles.
A reception with the filmmakers and with actor Edward Asner, who narrates the film, will precede the screening.
Tickets are $26 for the screening only or $54 for the screening and reception. Student tickets are $15.
