More than 85 women-oriented workshops, on topics from the environment to hormones, from female biblical heroes to the Internet, will be offered March 7 at the 18th annual Creative Options: A Day for Women.

Ann E. Bancroft, the first woman to travel across the ice to the north and south poles, will be the event’s keynote speaker. Bancroft will tell of skiing more than 660 miles while pulling a 200-pound sled to the south pole, and will discuss her dog-sled expedition to the north pole.

The conference will be at Cal Lutheran University. The school’s Women’s Resource Center and the American Assn. of University Women are sponsors.
