Transit Meeting Delayed Due to Rains

A public hearing regarding Ventura County’s unmet transit needs that was scheduled for today at the Camarillo City Council chambers has been postponed and relocated because of damage to City Hall from last week’s storms.
The meeting is now set for Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Camarillo Community Center, 1605 E. Burnley St., Room 6.
A similar public hearing in Ventura remains scheduled for Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ventura County Government Center, 800 S. Victoria Ave., in the Administration Building’s lower plaza assembly room.
Also, a meeting of the Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee that was scheduled for today at Camarillo City Hall has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The committee was to have discussed social services transportation.
