6 Suspects Arrested in Home Invasion Robbery
Sheriff’s deputies arrested six suspects after receiving a call Wednesday that a family was being robbed in their home in the 11600 block of El Granada Avenue.
When deputies arrived shortly after 8:30 a.m., they found four men inside the house and another waiting outside in a van. After a brief chase, all five were apprehended, said Deputy Steve Sciacca.
A sixth man was not found until 2 p.m. with help from a sheriff’s canine unit. He was found in a dumpster behind a trailer park in the 5000 block of Cortland Avenue.
All six were booked into the Century Regional Detention Facility and were being held in lieu of $65,000 bond each. The names of the victims and the suspects were not released.
