Forum for Candidates in Council Race to Be Held
In an attempt to familiarize residents with the three incumbents and challenger running in the City Council election next month, the Southwood Riviera Homeowners Assn. will host a forum Thursday.
Incumbents Marcia Cribbs, Jack Messerlian and Dan Walker, and challenger David Hill will discuss their positions on issues, and residents will have a chance to ask questions. Mayor Dee Hardison, who is unopposed, also will participate in the forum.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at Calle Mayor Middle School, 4800 Calle Mayor.
