Conference to Address World War II Claims
An upcoming conference at Whittier Law School will address the efforts to reconcile disputes over gold and other assets stolen from Holocaust victims by the Nazis during World War II.
The conference, with experts from the United States and Europe, will be from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 1 at the law school, 3333 Harbor Blvd.
Topics to be discussed include claims against Switzerland and other nations, claims against European insurance companies, claims stemming from art stolen by the Nazis and the financial involvement of neutral nations with the Nazis during the war.
