Device Puts Residents in Touch With City

A new hands-on display in the City Hall lobby aims to put residents and visitors in touch with the city.

The touch-screen video device, which is located next to a lobby reception desk, includes listings on the following topics: business and industry, community events, entertainment and attractions, and Irvine sister cities.

The Irvine Sister Cities Foundation created the $30,000 project with financial support from several corporations.

The group also received a grant from the Tokyo Frontier Assn.

The device was designed by Multimedia Design Corp.
