In the Garden Grove girls’ basketball tournament:

No. 10 Troy 62, Los Alamitos 47--Troy (12-2) used an full-court press to stifle Los Alamitos in the championship game.

Four Troy players scored in double figures--Veronica Johns (16 points), Heidi Hardeman 14, Tammy Yonamine 13 and Kristin Arnold 11--to offset the performance of 6-foot-6 Kristin Geoffroy, who had 18 points, 18 rebounds and seven blocks for Los Alamitos (8-6).

In the third-place game:

Garden Grove 46, Whittier California 37--Gloria Rojas scored 15 points and Katie Werdel had 14 for Garden Grove (8-6).

In the Savanna tournament:

Calvary Chapel 52, Cypress 33--Christy Ring had 14 points, nine steals and five assists for Calvary Chapel (11-2), which plays Bellflower in the title game Friday.

In the Honolulu St. Louis boys’ tournament:

Honolulu Chaminade 55, Sonora 46 (OT)--Sophomore Curtis Levine scored 15 points and Greg Vecchione and Marqui Worthy earned all-tournament honors for the Raiders (11-3) in the title game late Tuesday night.

In the Hampton Roads Holiday Prep Classic:

Atlantic Shores (Va.) 66, Troy 53--Jerry Inzunza had 22 points, six assists and three steals for Troy (10-3) in the championship game.

In the Orangewood Academy tournament:

Orangewood Academy 62, Los Angeles Price 59--Starly Alvarado (26 points) made a three-pointer with nine seconds left for a two-point lead and two free throws with two seconds left to lead Orangewood (9-2) in the title game.
