Man Killed, Cousin Injured in Shooting at Laundry
Authorities are seeking two men suspected of shooting one man to death and wounding his cousin after arguing with the victims outside a coin laundry, a sheriff’s deputy said Thursday.
Juan Cabrerra, 18, of Norwalk was killed and his cousin, Kenny Carcamo, 21, of La Puente was wounded in the laundry in the 10600 block of Imperial Highway just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Deputy Steve Sciacca said. Carcamo underwent surgery for two gunshot wounds and is in stable condition, Sciacca said.
The cousins apparently got into a confrontation with two other men in the parking lot before entering the facility to play a video game, investigators said. The suspects fired several shots through the front window, hitting the cousins, Sciacca said.
