Trabuco’s Saavedra Commits to DePaul

Vanessa Saavedra, a senior who pitched at Trabuco Hills last season, has made an oral commitment to attend DePaul, she said Friday.

She chose DePaul over Florida, Nevada Las Vegas, South Florida, Auburn and Oklahoma State.

Saavedra said she will not play for the Mustangs this season, citing differences with Coach Paul Beidler.
