A farm worker who was seriously injured in a train accident near Moorpark over the weekend was upgraded Sunday to good condition at Los Robles Regional Medical Center.
Jose Antonio Aguirre, 28, was working at an unguarded crossing east of Hitch Boulevard at California 118 on Saturday. He was struck in the ribs and chest by debris when an Amtrak train smashed into a tow truck sitting on the tracks.
