A chlorine leak at a Saticoy vegetable packing plant was patched by firefighters early Friday, officials said.
A county hazardous materials crew went to Basic Vegetable Products in the 5300 block of Vineyard Avenue after the leak was reported about 12 a.m.
About a pound of gas and liquid had leaked from the one-ton tank. It took crews about two hours to fix a hole in a pipe leading to the tank, and nobody was injured, fire officials said.
