Re “Missing the Boom-Time Bandwagon,” July 20:
Good, well-written story. You might have included the fact that when many long-time, middle-aged, middle-management workers were “downsized” to the sidewalk, it was because of the blatant incompetence of upper management, in many cases the same people who handed the victims of that incompetence their walking papers.
