*** John Fogerty, “Premonition,” Reprise. Rid of the legal and personal demons that kept him from performing Creedence classics, Fogerty dove back into that singular catalog with gusto on tour last year. That joy--heard in the boyish excitement in both voice and guitar--makes this live album more than a mere run-through of favorites, with “Born on the Bayou,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son” and a handful of post-Creedence songs sounding fresh as ever. Fogerty plays Aug. 18 at the Greek Theatre.
