Imperial Bank Expands Operations in Valley
Imperial Bank has expanded its San Fernando Valley regional office into a full-service business banking operation with substantially increased staffing, officials recently announced.
The bank, a subsidiary of Inglewood-based Imperial Bancorp, has expanded services at the Sherman Oaks office from strictly loan production, with a small staff, to a full-service office with a staff of 20, including 10 bankers, said Barry Cohn, regional vice president.
Cohn said he expects the office, which opened in 1996, to write $98 million in loans this year, up from $42 million in 1997. The grand opening of the expanded office is scheduled today.
Imperial Bancorp listed assets of $5.7 billion as of March 31.
