Pacific 63, Long Beach State 47--Michael Olowokandi had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who won their 14th game in a row and 30th in a row at home, the second-longest home-court winning streak in the nation.

Pacific (21-8, 14-2) has clinched the top-seeded spot in the Western Division for the upcoming Big West tournament at Reno.

Long Beach State (10-18, 5-11) has lost its last four games and eight of its last 10, but also has earned an appearance in the Big West tournament.

The 49ers will play Eastern Division champion Utah State in the first round.

Jason Williams had 17 points for the Tigers and Aaron Woliczko had 10. Both forwards capitalized on Long Beach’s emphasis on playing defense against Olowokandi.

Andrew Betts was the only player who scored in double figures for Long Beach State with 16 points.

Pacific took a 20-point lead, 56-36, on Woliczko’s three-point basket with 5:12 to play.

Cal State Northridge 101, Idaho State 87--Carl Holmes scored 18 points to lead the Matadors (11-15, 7-9 in the Big Sky Conference) to a win at Pocatello, Idaho.

Northridge led for all but the first six minutes of the game. The Matadors took their biggest lead of the game, 92-69, with 5:03 to play in the game.

Idaho State (6-20, 2-14) cut the Matador lead to 13 points but did not come any closer.
