College to Stage Its Spring Dance Show
Faculty and students from Moorpark College will stage a spring dance concert, with the theme “Celebrating Diverse Rhythms,” from March 26-29 at the school’s Performing Arts Center.
The college’s In Motion Dance Company will present a mix of modern jazz and tap dancing. Thousand Oaks High School’s dance team will also join the concert.
Luiz Badaro, an artist in residence with the Viver Brasil dance troupe in Los Angeles, has choreographed a piece set to live music for the concert.
Brad McCaskill, a European master dancer, will stage a lyrical ballet.
The performances are at 8 p.m. except for the March 29 concert, which is at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for youths and seniors, and $6 for the college’s staff and Associated Student Body members. For reservations, call 378-1485.
