Plane’s Door Flies Off

CHICAGO — A loose cabin door sheared off a commuter plane shortly after taking off Thursday, but the aircraft returned safely to the airport, officials said. The Chicago Express twin-engine turboprop was not carrying any passengers on its flight from Chicago to Grand Rapids, Mich.
