Clipper guard James Collins sat out Thursday’s game because of the death of an aunt in Jacksonville, Fla.
Clipper officials had no word on either the name of the aunt or when Collins would return.
After tonight’s game at the Sports Arena against Toronto, the Clippers leave on a three-game trip.

Record vs. Raptors--0-1.
Update--The Clippers return to the Sports Arena for the first time since Feb. 27 after playing four on the road and Thursday night at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. In their only other game against the Raptors this season, the Clippers lost, 109-101, at SkyDome. But at least the Clippers don’t have to worry about Damon Stoudamire, who was the leading scorer in that game with 36 points. He was traded to Portland on Feb. 13. Former Laker Doug Christie is leading the Raptors with a 15.5 scoring average.
