Palos Verdes Peninsula 56, San Clemente 52--Lauryn Morita made four free throws in overtime to pace the Panthers in a Division I semifinal at Peninsula.
Peninsula trailed at halftime and at the end of the end of the third quarter. The Panthers tied the score, 42-42, on a three-point basket by Kim York with 42 seconds left.
Brea Olinda 68, Compton Dominguez 53--Sophomore center Chelsea Trotter scored 28 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked four shots as the Ladycats cruised to the Division II semifinal victory and earned a 10th consecutive Southern California Regional final appearance.
Shaketha Ashley had 15 points for Dominguez.
