CalOPTIMA Has Open Advisory Board Seats

CalOPTIMA, Orange County’s Medi-Cal managed care program, is seeking volunteers for its member advisory committee.

The committee is an integral part of the CalOPTIMA organization as it serves an advocacy role on behalf of CalOPTIMA members.

Committee members attend monthly meetings providing input to the board of directors and staff on how to best serve members.

Currently, five vacant seats need to be filled by individuals to represent the following populations: persons with mental illness, medically indigent persons, adult beneficiaries, persons with special needs and long-term care patients.

The two-year term starts in July.

Applications are due to CalOptima by April 3.
